PING Powers Up Torque GC: Precision Meets Passion in New LIV Golf Sponsorship
Clubmaker’s deep roots with Latin stars bloom into bold new partnership on LIV’s global stage
ChungJu, Korea - PING, the trailblazing brand long associated with engineering excellence and player-first philosophy, has joined forces with LIV Golf’s all-Latin American powerhouse, Torque GC, in a sponsorship agreement that begins this week at LIV Golf Mexico City.
The move unites the Arizona-based manufacturer with a quartet of competitors—Joaquin Niemann, Mito Pereira, Carlos Ortiz, and Sebastian Munoz—who all swung their first serious clubs with PING and never looked back. It’s a relationship built on trust, loyalty and shared ambition.
“They’re family,” said PING CEO & President John K. Solheim. “These players have grown with us. Their drive and global appeal are the perfect match for what we stand for.”
Torque GC has quickly become one of the LIV League’s standout stories. Four team victories since 2023. Twenty-five international wins among its roster. And a captain in Niemann who currently sits atop the LIV individual rankings, having already secured two wins this season.
“My first proper clubs were PING,” Niemann shared. “It’s not just the performance. It’s the people. The support we get from their tour staff is second to none. We feel lucky they’re backing us as a team.”
The partnership runs deep: all four players will carry PING staff bags, wear the iconic logo on their caps, and continue to trust the clubs that shaped their professional rise. Most notably, Niemann’s recent win at the Saudi International was the maiden victory for PING’s new G440 driver—a sign, perhaps, of things to come.
As Torque GC gears up for another tilt at the podium, they’ll be doing it with more than horsepower. They’ll have PING’s precision behind every swing.
